On 14th June, I went to sleep early as I had an early morning shift to go to work. I woke up after midnight with a sore throat and a blocked nose. I did saltwater gargling but there was no relief. I could not get any sleep and I panicked. So, I sent a message to Dada explaining my symptoms and asked for guidance. Dada enquired whether I had gone to work and further asked me whether I had worn a face mask while going to and in office in the past few days and cautioned me to alert my mother and brother with whom I met the previous day that they should monitor themselves and take extra care. Dada later sent me relevant information showing through images of how to properly wear a face mask along with the importance of following physical distancing and good hygiene practices.
Later in the day, as my body ache increased, I called up a doctor who asked me to check whether I had a fever and I informed that my body temperature showed as 101. The doctor then told me that I had to get a test for COVID 19 done the next day. I was taken aback and not sure and I messaged Dada again who advised me to follow the doctor's instructions and not hesitate in doing the test. The next day I gave the test for COVID 19 at Nanavati hospital, Mumbai and went to collect the report on the following day and to my relief, the test results showed negative and I texted Dada about the result of the test. Dada advised to take all precautions and inform my doctor too about the result. Over the next few days, I was feeling much better and was wondering whether the test was required at all. After six days on 20th June, Dada sent a message asking how I was feeling and I replied that I felt much better. Dada then wrote It is purely HIS grace that you are doing good otherwise you were to test positive that day.
After I saw Dada's message, I realized how serious the situation was and how Dada rescued me. I felt a sense of guilt as I had become complacent and took the situation lightly. By Dada's grace, my managers also were very understanding and allowed me to extend my leave by one more week so that I could recover fully.
Mere words are just not sufficient to describe what my Beloved Dada had done who took such loving care of me and shielded not only me but also all my family members from the Corona Virus.
